Rocky joined our herd in October 2026 through a buck swap with a good friend, trading our boy Loki for Rocky. One of the things that really caught my attention was his half sister, Honey. I have really enjoyed watching how she is developing, and knowing that she and Rocky share the same sire made me even more interested in bringing him into our program!
Rocky has a very sweet disposition, and he was raised as a bottle baby, which definitely shows in his personality. Even more exciting, he is polled! Having the opportunity to bring in a buck with these qualities, along with genetics I am already excited about through his half sister, made him an especially exciting addition to our herd!
I am looking forward to watching Rocky mature and seeing what he can contribute to our breeding program here at My Darling Farm. Every addition to our herd is made with thought toward our long-term goals, and I am excited to see what the future holds for this sweet boy!
