Silvia joined our herd in 2026 from the wonderful Golden Shepherd Farm who is local to us. From the day she arrived, we knew she was something special. We were looking for a doe that combined strong dairy qualities with a calm, willing temperament, and Silvia has exceeded our expectations in every way. She has A sweet, gentle personality, and is a joy to work with. Whether she's out in the pasture or on the milk stand, Silvia is easy going and cooperative, making her one of those does you look forward to spending time with each day. As a first freshener, Silvia impressed us with a beautifully soft udder and teats that are comfortable and easy to milk. Her udder texture and overall memory quality have made milking enjoyable, and we're excited to watch her continue to mature with each freshening. Silvia is a treasured part of our breeding program and we are grateful to Golden Shepherd Farm for giving us the opportunity to bring her into our herd. We look forward to seeing what the future holds for her and her offspring.
