Our reservation policies

​Kidding Reservations & Kid Sales Policy

​We are thrilled to offer kidding reservations for our upcoming breeding season! To ensure a fair process for all buyers and the best care for our kids, the following rules apply:

​Reservation List & Fees: We maintain a free interest/reservation list prior to kidding. 

Specific bucklings and doelings are offered in the order requests are received. 

Once a kid is born and evaluated, the buyer will be notified and has 24 to 48 hours to place a non-refundable deposit ($75 for registered stock, $50 for wethers) to hold the kid.

​Breeding Choices & Availability: 

Breeding plans are subject to change. 

My Darling Farm reserves the first right to retain any kid born from any pairing for our own breeding program, regardless of existing reservation lists.

​Pricing & Deposits: 

Prices are set once kids are born and evaluated. 

Deposits are applied toward the total purchase price. 

A kid is marked as "Sale Pending" only after the deposit is received, and remains "Sale Pending" until picked up.

​Unborn Kid Guarantees:

 We cannot guarantee perfect conformation, gender, color patterns, eye color, or horn status (polled vs. horned) for unborn kids. 

If a reserved pairing does not produce the preferred gender or quality, your reservation can be moved to another available kid or carried over to the next season.

​Bottle Babies & Weaning:

​Bottle Kids: If a buyer wishes to pull and raise a kid on a bottle, the kid must be picked up by the agreed-upon date (typically within 1–2 weeks of birth) once they are nursing strongly. 

Full payment is due at pickup.

​Dam-Raised Kids: 

Kids remaining at My Darling Farm until weaning will be ready for pickup between 8 and 10 weeks of age. 

Daily boarding fees may apply if a weaned kid is not picked up on the scheduled date.

​Health at Pickup:

 Kids will leave vaccinated (CD&T), disbudded (if applicable), and in good health. Buyers are responsible for continuing proper nutrition, coccidiosis prevention, and care upon taking the kid home.
